I loved the last line and the weed curtain. I also loved the Frog eyes. Heck it was all good; almost every word painted a picture.

This is a beautiful haiku - especially the last line, I really love the addition of the turtle - it makes me think what they might be to each other - outstanding imagery in the middle line too! I loved this

I appreciate your comment. This was an exact image I saw while in my canoe at a local lake in late July. It was exciting to see and photograph the large turtle, but then I saw the frog eyes just above the water from between the weeds watching us both!
