Goodnight...and goodbye

Waiting for my life to open into the light,
Hoping by some miracle, I will survive.

Beneath the snow lies your heart,
cold, empty, but I know you hear me.
(I can hear you call my name)

Say goodbye, to all things that pain you,
say goodnight, to all things that trouble you.

I know you are afraid,
(Again your voice screams my name)

Say goodnight, don't be afraid now.
Say goodbye, I'll come after you.

I love you.

Calling my name,
Screaming my name.
You
    Fade
      To
        Black...

Author notes

As you may be able to tell...this is about a suicide. This happens more than people think, and I just wish I could have told them that I loved them. I wish I didn't have regret. I wish he were still here.....Hope this is what you were looking for...
