Lucky for us kids, there were no windows we could break in the area where we played baseball. I enjoyed your haiku, it brought back good memories for me!

Best of Luck in the contest!

Dear Darlene,
Ooops! Missed this one. Sorry.
With me it was cricket and the pavilion window that got in the way.......
very fast bouncer
batsman strikes for clean six
new window needed
I think your window haiku will stir up memories in most of us. Quite early in my married life I decided against buying a house which faced the 18th hole of a golf course!
Good luck in the contest. Applause, love and hugs, XXX Hugh (R.)

Haha Ohh Darlene, with my family it was cricket in the backyard and the windows used to be broken by a cricket ball, plus our neighbours windows. Such good times they had but Bob was always replacing windows, and he was one of the main culprits.

Hi Joan,
I bet each country has the broken window syndrom be it a cricket ball or base ball or as with Yem a rock...those dang windows get in the way of our fun...
Thanks for commenting..

Been there, done that back when I was a kid. Actually the last time I did it, I used a rock, was trying to stop our cat from attacking our chicken...my throw was too strong...I hide from my dad until my mom broke the news, lol...but surprisingly I didn't get too much heck from it. Large front window too!
Look what you got started!
