I am lost in translation
I use my magnifying glass to search for my heart
Which grows smaller and smaller each passing day.
I see myself as the earth, because I am surrounded
By eight planets of hate.
I swim in a pool of my tears
The salt waves sting my fresh wounds.
I live in a world where pain is masked by a smile.
I live in a world where beauty is created with a tube of lipstick.
I live in a world where I am not cared for
But I am expected to care for.
Some find peace only to kill themselves.
Some kill themselves to find peace.
Others just await their death in hopeful silence.
Others like me.

thank you for taking the time to read this xx

this wasn't bad, i'd prefer stanzas but it was still written well
I see myself as the earth, because I am surrounded
By eight planets of hate.
I swim in a pool of my tears
The salt waves sting my fresh wounds
