Just think of the things you can say on AP.
Imagine what you've already written, what you might write in the future.
And then go try to recite those things to your family
or classmates
or co-workers
and listen to them snicker.
Where else can you express yourself so on a whim, if you like?
Also, think of all those things that could happen to you, with all your free time not spent on AP.
Things like: Car accidents.
Unplanned pregnancy (not the worst thing).
Muggers.
Homelessness!
