His tender arm fell loosely
over her rhythmic breasts
and her supple hand found his.
Dawn arrived,
splashing through
the fissure of the
burgundy curtains and
settled on slumbering skin.
The golden glow
occasionally glistened
onto their diamond,
delicately placed on
her third finger.
Her palm grazed
his upper arm as
their rested eyes opened.
His emerald met her sapphire,
and his lips met hers
as they bathed in dawns delight.
Please tell me what you think

What a beautiful poem. You've penned this well! -
Congratulations! This is a lovely poem and I know it was a hard contest to judge.
Your take on the pic was so refreshingly different to mine. Well done.

I do like the thoughts of burgundy curtains and rays of sunshine settling on slumbering skin. Thank you for your entry.
