It seems to me that the best people always go
The people we never get to know always stay
And the good people we love seem to stray,
Like the world's best hamburger, you can take it to go
After you eat it it's gone, but it stays within
We tend to have relationships using the same grin
I don't know why but we treat people like meat
We realise they're amazing but never show it
So they end up having to leave...and we just sit
Staring into the thoughts of what could've been
Looking on each side of us to the people we'll never meet
Knowing that if we took half the chance to get to know them we might be complete
Frienships are important because people are important
We never really take care of what or who we should
But then we see our mistakes too late and wonder what we could...
It seems to me that the best people always go

In such a disgusting greasy way...
But I do know we mean more to eachother than words or actions can say...

What a great analogy on how men often treat others like meat,
we feed off of each other, often leaving little left on the plate of those who served us. We dessicate our finest youth in the meat grinder of war, we leave the feast of marriage often long before it is fully digested, when we need to savor the flavor of each person around us, appreciating what they add to our daily diet, rather then casting them in a dumpster of despair. great write.~~Artis

I found this to be more of ...almost like a dark humor, but seemed very honest to me. Your most definitely right about how we really do treat people like pieces of meat. Don't need em unless our iron levels are low and we're lonely... Its horrible!
I especially love the lines:
