I always get a tingle
When you enter, cup in hand
You and the carress of caffeine
Are warmth, entangled in my mind
The first time I sat here
At the second table on the right
I made a pyramid of empty creamers
And I swear I heard you laugh
I never saw your mouth
Barricaded as it was behind the rim
'Til one day I lifted up your coffee cup
And found all the smiles you hid
You rose, and I wondered if you'd run
You thought I'd come unhinged
I was just this wild, madwoman
On a doubleshot binge
I wasn't quite sure what this was
Til I heard that new song
All about falling in love
In a coffee shop

This is a warm piece, with a lovely humour to it. I have never heard the song but want to, sounds right up my street. Coffee shops are one of my favourite places to get inspiration and what greater inspiration is there than love.
