For the lady in Kent

Tea and cakes and strawberry jam
that's what the name brings to mind
Sue Cardwell, you have always been kind.
I hope by the time this contest is done
You feel better and ready for fun.

Even though these aren't great rhymes
I wish you nothing but good times.
I know what it's like and it's not pretty
And now I will conclude this ditty.

Author notes

I'm sorry for the bad poetry. Just too trite.

Sue once submitted a poem for a contest of mine that dealt with strawbery jam, cakes, etc.

Thank you Jady for this little poem that made me smile, which is what the contest was all about.

Thanks to Jade for running it also.

    Love
    Sue
