your frown is begging to be dyslexic

Thoughts drown the cerebral valley,
just making things worse.
Pitter-patter of teen angst,
walking across my heart.

Maybe I just need a new start...

Don't look back,
to face the past.
Because the future
knows you are beautiful.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist
to know how to reach for the stars.

Turn things around
and from being upside-down.
Smile and start over,
don't give up yet.

After every storm,
after every downpur,
there's a rainbow shining bright.

    Nice Work!

Glad you won a trophy for this! Love the title & the way you start this out:

    Thoughts drown the cerebral valley,
    just making things worse.
    Pitter-patter of teen angst,
    walking across my heart.

Thoughts drown the cerebral valley: What a great line! This is so visual & mentally captivating for me.

Just a note, after every storm there isn't always a rainbow, but I really appreciate the sentiment! This is very upbeat & sunny, with positive thoughts for the future! Way to go...
