What can bother one so beautiful
As to take your smile away?
What troubles this beautiful soul
That leaves frowns instead of smiles?
A beauty so profound
Should not be hid behind
Lines etched with worries
No, only smiles.
So come now, my pretty
Let out that sweet, sweet smile
That yearns to break free
That sweet smile that makes even the coldest hearts warm.
Lay whatever worries you on my broad shoulders, broader than Atlas'
Let me soothe you, wipe the frowns from your sweet face
Put your hand in mine and I will take you on a journey
A journey of warmth, joy, sweetness, laughter and peace!
Author notes
I hope this brings a smile to your face. Even if it is the tiniest of smiles, then my day would have been greatly made!. Cheers!
