Virtual Meowity

Temptation suspended in mid-air,
so close, yet out of reach...
Face to face with my desire,
although I crave I cannot taste.

High-def virtual life surreal,
tantalizing my senses...
3-D fantasies my reality,
lost in a world I cannot touch.

Feeding my mind, yet I hunger~
real life must soon be faced.
Animated dreams grounded in pixels
leave me unfulfilled, famished.

I really really love this poem.. the stanza that stood out to me and screamed at me is the second stanza. so much is said within that one stanza its amazing. Profound words, strong poem.. excellent..
