Some dreams are existential.
Other are less substantial.
There are some, that are inconsequential.
Many dreams seem so real.
I often see Mom, Dad and brother too.
I often wish that some of my dreams could come true.
There are good dreams, bad dreams, and vivid dreams.
I've had surreal dreams, wet dreams, dreams where,
I'm freezing, dreams where I'm too hot, dreams where
I'm being chased, dreams of snakes, dreams where,
some things out to get me, dreams of old girlfriends,
falling down from a cliff dreams, dreams about work,
dreams about play, death dreams, and nightmares!
Dreams are like the ocean sometimes,
other times the are murky, foggy, and
indiscernible mysteries.
Some people dream only black and white,
but, I dream in technicolor!
Some of us have no dreams at night. Many of us even daydream.
Sometimes I wish that some of my dreams could come true.
There remain less easily classified dreams.
Dreams such as childhood dreams, XXX dreams,
career dreams, dreams of power, dreams for the ego,
dreams from our imagination, dreams from last nights
TV show or the last watched movie, dreams ad-nauseam.
Dreams can reflect reality or be totally imaginary.
Reality can mix with your dreams and drive some of them.
One must separate their own reality and situation
from their dreams to function in the "real" world!
I pray that mankind's dreams continue.
Without dreams life would be less meaningful,
perhaps the "real" would not exist without our dreams.

What a lovely bunch of dreams, lots of images to believe in. Poems techniques in writing followed and the clarity leds the reader into sights lovely and macbe, hopeful and meaningless. Good luck with the contest.

Great first stanza. That is such a good description. I have many dreams that seem real. Third stanza: Very complete list of the different dreams. Many are murky and foggy, especially when you wake up. I've wished so many times that my dreams would come true.

Did you read the lyrics and stuff or did you just look at the title? What's your username? You also didn't put the number in the title. But since you wrote that in your author's notes and you put the song title as your poem title, I'll overlook that.
