With a cataclysmic crashing,
autumn bursts onto the scene.
Colors vibrant and so beautiful,
some almost seem obscene.
THE REDS, THE GOLDS AND ORANGES,
JUMP RIGHT INTO YOUR EYES.
This brilliant show of colors,
comes to some as a surprise.
To us here in the mid west,
it’s an enchanting time of year.
With apples ready for the picking,
soon “Octoberfest” is here.
I love the cool crisp morning air,
and the smell of burning leaves.
It’s when we trade our shorts in,
and start wearing our long sleeves.
The bewitching days of Halloween,
brings this festive season to a close.
It will come around again next year,
so I just have to stay composed.

thank you for entering. It is indeed at times as if it were a "cataclysmic crashing" and bursting forth with colors. before we turn around the hot days of summer are but a memory and we revel in the crispness and multi-colored display of this beautiful season and the bounty of its harvest. Thanks again
