It never dies, it never fades
Vile creature with a touch of pain
Fair flesh wilts beneath its acid claws
Like soft petals over white hot flame
Deep-seated hatred without cure
Screams out, a pitch the dead alone can hear
Black talons tear off the mask of skin
To reveal the beast from which stems all inner fear
A fury like no mortal can contain
Erupts in snarls and wanton anguish
Tempered only by self desolation
This fiend is its own nemesis
Shut your eyes and the demon dies
A few precious moments to forget despair
But the time comes again to look into the glass
In the reflection the monster is still right there

"A fury the like no mortal can contain"
I don't think "the" is the right word there, hon'.
"This fiend is it’s own nemesis"
I believe it is "its" seeing as "it's" stands for "it is".
Your poems rhymes in some parts, and is totally free verse in others, lol. I wonder what the picture is from too.
But anyways, I like this. Obviously, totally your style, and not a bad kick start to your muse, seeing as you rarely write now as it is.

Cheers, mistakes corrected.
Certainly is more of a what than a who isn't it?

It's you, isn't it?

What would fit the poem better.

You're not a beast/monster/fiend, you weirdo, so no, it really doesn't fit.
