Kissing shadows
of orange and red,
curved soft whispers
of fluttered wings,
stay still here.

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: Butterfly
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I do several times~ Images come to me in many forms~ while taking in Your words: Kissing shadows- Wonderful way to start this piece and for some reason while reading those two words- I kept seeing two hands- as if doing shadow puppets- but I am seeing the shadow on the wall images- also while reading part- *orange and red* I kept getting reference to wine- and how they enhance flavor or food- intensifies it-However this to be interpreted
Whether metaphor or symbolism
For some reason the last line- I kept being pulled to the three words- stay still here
and it felt as if maybe a space or bringing *still here*- having that on a separate line- just a thought...
of fluttered wings,
stay
still here.
Only because when I read the three together- for me....it felt like a breath I was needing to take but couldn't between the word: stay and still--
Hopefully this makes some sense~
Excellent take on the prompt ~
Powerful images & message You have brought forth

Thank You for sharing Your Talent also Voice!

Sweet and sensual, filled with gentle serenity. Beautiful write for the picture you chose. My favorite verse is when you spoke "curved soft whispers."
