I wear the mask
The mask is me
Look deeper
Inside
Embrace
What you
See

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: Masquerade
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I do several times~ Images come to me in many forms~ while taking in Your words: The mask is me- Now when I read this line- I had to read again for the images I got were very different- for some reason I was seeing a figure from the movie: The Puppet Master- one of the puppets- the face of Blade...Silver faced- with hollowed eyes- carries a blade- However that is to be interpreted- but after reading Your words again- I was being shown a Jester- vibrant colored hat with bells attached- also remnants of Mardi Gras- the festivities- mainly colors- streamers- and song: When the Saints Go Marchin In- -
however that is to be interpreted-
Whether metaphor or symbolism
Hopefully this makes some sense~
Excellent take on the prompt ~
Powerful images & message You have brought forth

Thank You for sharing Your Talent also Voice!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
**Judging will be done shortly...
Many blessings too
and much love & light~ Desire~*~

I am genuinely astounded by your perceptiveness on where I was heading on this write. I will say your second interpretation was closer to the mark. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments as I said I am impressed. God Bless,

Lovely write! I quite enjoyed this! For something so short, it flowed wonderfully! Nothing seemed forced at all. Good luck and amazing write!
