Butterflies breeze on the whispers of the songs
Music played by the hearts that can't bear to see their loved ones in pain
Stars cry acid rain when its too hard to be strong
Night clouds hide the sky to reflect the minds of the people going insane
Ocean foam soaks into the sand as it dies a silent death
Crashing waves fight their last battle as they sail into shore
Arcs of tiny waves are reborn in a whooshing breath
Yellow light skims dark water- dancing to the ocean floor
Rainbows glitter in the grieving flames
Tiny little sparkles of baby rain drops glance off of crying faces
Fire stealing icy dreams that had no names
Innocence etched in smiles-a circle, broken ,now, missing in places
Notes of freedom are sung in the lullabies of the next generation
Almost there, a mother trembles for just seconds leaving her children alone
Eyes of cerulean finally see the neglected, the victims situation
Nimble bodies listen for a school bell instead of a mothers mourning moan
Dangling leaves wrap around an old gate that holds the many secrets of childhood
wooden posts wrapped by the wrinkled intricate leaves are caught with remembrances
A waterfall falls every drop part of a cycle of reminders of a peace jointly understood
Haven of rainbows showing warriors a color not defined by hate-genuine chances
Author notes
Option 5, and 7
(Used all words)
I used option seven with rainbows and butterflies. It isn't really cliche or cheesy - its really alot of metaphor and the rainbows are represented by all the colors.
