& although there's a lot that I'm missing
I refuse to settle for anything less than my soul mate
or deny my intuition
I've got everything and nothing to offer
Depending on what you need
But it don't matter - cuz through me you will breathe
And with that you bled
Don't be swayed by my gentle nature
I'm gonna keep it real, if you pay close attention
You won't be misled
You gotta appeal to me, smell nice
and tolerate my tendencies
Respect me and please me
and always appease me
Listen to my bitchin'
So that I can release
Make me laugh keep it funny
But watch how you tease
I'm pretty well-rounded -
I know it's a 2-way street
When you give off, I feed off
Creating 1ne HeartBeat
Challenge & Stimulate me
But don't ever make me feel stupid
Defend & Create with me
But don't ever leave me hanging
I'm banging & blazing
I'm completely amazing
When the timings right -
I'm meant to shine bright
I deserve what I profess
Cuz I've had enough of the mess
And the stress in excess .....
There's more to the story
of this morning glory
Just keep on adoring me
And you'll see that there's soO much more 2 me.

I don't know why but your poem made me think of this one, I think it was the line 'I refuse to settle for anything less than my soul mate', but not just that, even though the over all the subject matter is different, we seem to be searching for the same thing in them..Also the 'creating 1ne heartbeat' line kind of reflects the same..
