I think of your eyes,
deep blue, small pupils,
I imagine your smile,
and I sink to my knees.
Your warm embrace, I melt in passion,
yearning for the chance to show you,
to show you my true feelings,
how I need you so.
I picture your hair, those beautiful dreds,
and I sigh impatiently and somberly.
I wish to run into your arms,
with no regrets, no worries.
I think of your golden heart,
your everlasting compassion,
your kindness and your love,
I think of the kids who love you.
I hide my passion for you,
deep within the depths of my heart,
for I know revealing it will bring sorrow,
for both me and guilt you.
A friendly hug for you,
means hours of smiles for me,
as I cry, alone, wishing,
I could see you one last time.
You always wondered why I always seemed happy,
you never understood that the moment you walked in,
a smile would spread across my face, and freeze there,
for as long as I see you, I will never cry.
I reserved my emotions when saying goodbye,
although I wanted to cry and pull you in,
I took my long farewell hug, and melted,
in hopes of seeing you one last time.
I pine in agony when I see your picture,
I smile at how comfortable you were with me,
I cry knowing how close we were,
even if it was for only one summer.
