There are some things others think I do with ease
what they don’t see is all my prayers
the hours I spend planning, shopping and trying
to make the banquet look so special
I love to decorate that is for sure
but I don’t have confidence in my self
I really do depend on the Lord for my ideas
Then there are those things that scare me to death
no matter how often I have done them
standing up in front of people is the main one
why does it scare me, why do I feel sick
I’ve done it before and have never been bit
Why do I shake and loose my breath
when for years in club I’ve taught
every time I must bow my head
ask the Lord to help me through
if I didn’t I’d run and hide
I have no confidence in my self
but in the Lord I do believe
I can do what I need to do
with His help I will succeed
yes! I will . . . . . . . . . . .

I know that there are things I am good at because God has blessed me with the talent to do them. there are also things that I do because I have to, but I am not confident or maybe I just don't trust myself to do them right, so I lean on God a lot. As long as God can use me I don't mind leaning on Him.
