I know the nightmares that keep you awake,
loss of a loved one your heart just can't take.
Robbed of innocence at such a tender age,
your shattered youth fills me with rage.
Yes I was there and I am here with you now,
helping you make sense out of life somehow.
What the devil meant for evil I'll turn for my good,
it's written in my word so I'm not misunderstood.
A spiritual warfare doing battle for your soul,
leading you to darkness is satan's highest goal.
But I won't let that happen you belong to me,
raising up as testimony for the whole world to see.
Strong in your faith you'll make the right choice,
standing steadfast evolve in beauty and poise.
A silver lining breaks through bringing forth smiles,
Grizelda's eternal light stretching over the miles.
She's here with me wishing you joy and peace,
the anger,sorrow and fear shall come to a cease.
So many wonders of life lie in store just for you,
Your angel Grizelda will make sure they come true.
Always remember your cradled safe in my arms,
protected from those who's intent would be harm.
I am with you always until the end of time,
Now and forever you are eternally mine!!!

i know, i could've just said which stanzas i liked, but i just loved these lines so much, i just had to see them again. This was a great poem! sorry if this comment was hard on the eyes. Fabulous job! =D

Just Beautiful
Oh I know Nikki will just love this encouraging poem. A letter spoken of truth right from God himself in Heaven above. Thank you for your encouraging words of wisdom and loving support. Yes she has been through a horrible trajedy but like you said the Lord is with her and her friend is with the Lord. I don't know if this poem was just for her because it is just what I personally needed to read. Thank you so much for your entry and best of luck in the contest.

This is wonderful! It does leave one with a peaceful feeling, and knowing that even though something/someone is breaking us down, there is something/someone that is there to lift us up, and help carry us when we need it most.
