No matter what I do or say I know,
“ I love you too,” you just won’t say.
For 6 years long we’ve been together,
side-by-side we stood together.
Loving, laughing, living each day.
Those happy days now seem so far away.
I now fear the day is near
when goodbye is all we have left to say.
Hope is all I have to hold
the hope that you will want the same as I,
to love, to laugh, to live to hold.
Hope that tomorrow is clear and bright
and the nights are calm and right.
The hope that someday
you’ll reopen your heart to the world, to me,
and let the love pour in.

Welcome to AllPortry!
This is full of emotion. It holds sadness but a possible glimpse of hope too. I think it would read better if you put it into lines instead of just a paragraph. Well done.
Welcome to AP. If you have any questions or need help with anything, feel free to IM me.
Keep expressing through writing.
