When days are rough,
And harsh winds blow my way,
leaving me feeling cold,
I know I can count on you.
You light a fire
And keep me warm.
You sing me happy songs.
I once felt like I was
Walking on thorns
But you've made a comfortable
Cushion for me to sleep on.
On a stormy night,
You put your arms around me,
And tell me stories
About days when the sky is bright
And birds sing joyful songs.
You're my light.
Without you I'd be lost.
