My heart yearns

thoughts disturb, my heart,
trapped, struggling escape
from reflecting

on her hurt, pain, longing
for peace, where questions
bring un-answers

and, peace seems distant,
far outside the circle
of comfort

my mind reflects, outcome,
strife to be replaced
with blessing

paved by forgiveness,
and, strengthened
with love

why humans do not learn
that pride weakens ties -
my heart, yearns answers

Author notes

This Is So True & Compassionate

This is just one of those beautiful poems, that is such a reality when reflecting like you said on observing anothers pain yet wishing them blessings, with forgiveness, and, strengthened with love. But oh yes the PRIDE word in how we try to do things all on our own without one to lean on with a humbled heart definitely brings weakened ties. Oh Frans my heart also yearns for answers. Excellent poem. Thank you for sharing your heart with me.
    Many Blessings
    Much Love

Frans, What a beautiful and inspiring poem. Yes pride befalls many a man and woman. You always write with such wisdom and always uplift the reader with faith and hope. Bless you my friend. Always such a pleasure to read your poetry! Take care.

      Thank you,

its a sort of reflective-observation, perhaps so similar to my 'previous' way of doing things, or more honestly, way of behaving. I have since learnt. Perhaps not wisdom, but learning and understanding why I was like that. Frans
