The Journey

People make mistakes. It is our humanity.
There are no perfect people!
When we arrive in this world, we are not handed
the rules or guidelines.
So, from day one, we all just do the best we can.
We live in the light we have at that very moment.
We hope that we are doing the, "right" things,
but we stumble and we fail.
THERE IS NO SHAME IN FAILURE!
This is how we determine what works, and what doesn't.
If things were always rosy, how would we ever learn to
deal with hardship, adversity, and pain?
From failure, we learn to become successful.
We build upon that foundation.
If along life's road we see a fellow has fallen...
We are obliged to help them to their feet again.
One day, the hand who lifts you back up again...
maybe theirs!
Never stop journeying. Always keep moving towards the goal you have set for yourself. If it is only an inch today...ok! Never stop moving forward.
Once the goal has been reached, do not languish or bask in the achievement. That is someone else's job, not yours!
Immediately set a new goal and proceed again on your journey.
Life will be full of experiences and richly rewarded memories.
The key is...never stop!

i have enjoyed it very much. wow... it's so relevant. i've been in this heated discussion on another board, and a lot of what you are talking about has to do with a key theme running through that thread. and about not languishing in your achievements and keeping on keeping on to provide rich memories for life cannot be given enough credit. you are so correct. regrets for having not done it in the past, and trying to overcome that now... sometimes seems we shall never overcome. today... i'm striving for that 1". Thanks for the write

    Hello.

I like this write a lot. I can't say too much about it though, as I have a write, which covers this stuff that I am working on, ahahah. But you, in my opinion, are correct, and insightful. Only thing I would do is break it up a little bit, it looks like one big chunk, and what is being said would read better broken up; read, have a little ponder, move on, read, etc. Nice write.

    My regards.

    Interesting Ideas

Your thoughts about life are insightful.  It is true that life is best lived by creed of "if you fall, get up again." Easier said than done sometimes

    So true!

I see that this could be one of the best writes and that coming from you, your years of living life's expereinces, trials, failures and successes. It tells one how life had to go on no matter the failures whihc are the very part of life. Recently the subject of perfection and failures is revolving around me. My friend told me that we have to take failure (as if I dont! lol, but as my best friend, he had to tell that to me) and then I read somewhere, if we were perfect, then we would be God, which is so true.

    loved this, thanks for sharing.

    love and light,
    Lencio

That is my favorite part of this write!! How beautiful you brought that across. Our own works and achievements really do wind up benefiting others more than ourselves sometimes, but then again, we were put here to share some words and be servants to others. What you say makes perfect sense. Nice job.
