Sealed Letter

And I just couldn't figure out the reasons why?
why you left so abruptly without saying a word
was our relationship that horrid ?
that you just had to renounce our relationship
and feign like we never existed...

No arguments that I can remember
no cold words ever exchange
but yet the heat of our ardor is now dead

questions left unanswered when you walked out the door
I penned them down on paper to try to make sense of it all
my mind scattered in differents thoughts
reflecting on the past  few months
frozen in time confused and irresolute
of where did I messed up and our love gone wrong??

as tears stained my paper and one page turned into two
I realized nothing I said would compel you to stay
you had made the choice to resolve our relations and walk away

nothing is more painful than to have your love rejected
but that is a risk we all take when we choose to love
so I took the letter that I wrote and folded it in two
you were my love my life or so I thought
until my heart was ripped by you
now I seal the letter as you had sealed our fate
never to be opened for that is the choice that I have made
