Time ticks away, while we remain the same
I don't like to play this useless game
Just sever the ties, leave me here to die
It's a better fate then when I listen to you lie
All that is hope for me, has gone away
Because you remain the same, every day
I cannot remain here when I know that this is wrong
But you just insist on dragging me along
Stop all of this, your tearing me apart
And I'm not ready for another round to start
Just sever the ties, leave me here to die
It's a better fate then when I have to here you cry
All that is hope for me, has gone away
Because your killing me every day
I cannot remain here, when I know that this is wrong
But the only thing you do is carry me along
All that is hope for me, within destruction
Your destroying my every living function
I can't breath when I'm pinned to the ground
I just need to get away, your rejection around
Just sever the ties, leave me to die
It's far better when I can see the sky
Author notes
The Wednesday poem.
"All that is hope
Within destruction
Comes from you
For I have fallen"
The chorus of "Within Destruction" by As I Lay Dying. The last line of the chorus didn't inspire me, but I thought I'd just put the whole thing.

I love the bluntness of this. some people really need to know that what they are doing is destroying you. I especially like the first stanza. To the point and expressive.
