Tuckered out and tired
What else can I say?
Speeding everywhere
I’ve been chasing her all day.
Purring each time she passed
Made my engine rev and roar.
Teasing she’d zoom right by.
So the pedal I did floor.
Blowing a kiss and winking
Made my heart race even more.
Making me even more determined
Than I was seconds before.
On and on I chased her
Faster and faster we did go.
Till she ran right out of gas,
Stopping she smiled and said “hello”.
“Well now that you have caught me
What else can I say”?
Should you offer me a ride
I’ll do the same but in the hay.

Thanks kiwi.
What can be more fun.

Well your opening and closing lines would seem to indicate that there may be disappointment in the offing. The ending surprised me in that I wasn't expecting the expected. Does that make sense? This made me smile!
