I’ll admit now every time I hear that song
I think, think back to you
yeah, back to the times we had if you can even call it that
all the stupid things we did
the way you always dipped your head
when you were nervous and faithful
those were the days when we never cried
the days when your guitar would lul me to sleep
The strum of your guitar in parking lot
Made me plummet into that young crush
But then…Crash and burn
You crack a smile, Laugh when I fall
Pick me up, you Lead me on.
Pick me up, you lead me on.
Pick me up; you -------->let me fall.
This decision won’t let me breathe
I keep choking on words I mean to say
and every time they try to leak
these words they hide behind my teeth
And every time you reach for my hand
I’ll have to pull away and say
im sorry for this but. . .when did we change?

Holy crap. This is absolutely stunning work! It took my breath away. So many timnes I have wondered this with past relationships and friendships. It's very creative to end it with that question. Lovely job.
