On the blade’s swords, the tale embodied in blood begins
Of two kings from one land, in a war that death is the only end
Two brothers
One buried beneath the earth so that his soul may rest
One left in the field of battle for the buzzards to digest
A crime against God though it may be
Still it is a king’s decree
A sister with a heart full of grief
And her head strong full of belief
She sneaks into the dark to giver her brother his godly claim
With dirt and wine, a burial fit for a king, not one of shame
Captured she is, though she won’t refute the charge
Stubborn, full of pride she will not barge
She makes her stand, to the king
For all along death, she was expecting
In her stone crypt she is confined
Locked away for all of time
For upholding a law older then man
Against the word a king who has yet to understand
That a man he is and not a god
And is not to repudiate the ancient law
Please tell me what you think
