Or say nothing at all
Just be here close to me

Lie still, so still
Absorb it all
Let it grow so silent
Till we can hear our hearts beat.

Make this moment stand still
I can barely breathe.

For the rest of my life
I know I don't have to move
I can just lie here
Close to you.

Do you feel it?
Just close your eyes
And in some future time
When you close them again
May you return to this moment
Forever frozen.

The air thick with this feeling

There are some moments in life that make it all worth living. Those moments are worth hanging on to, in your heart, even if the person leaves your life. Thats the point of this poem...kind of the bittersweetness of a lost love. okay im a sap i know. Let me know what you think!
