at the time I turned 40
I felt I was falling apart
I had been sick for several months
over weight, depressed
I thought if this how it feels
I might as well just quit
now it is 7 and half years later
I am young and full of life
still over weight but losing
happy as a meadow lark
singing in the morning
You can be old in your teens
or young at 102
life is what you make it
sure we might get tired
from the things we do
rest a little refresh your self
cause you got things to do
keep your mind feeling young
don't pay heed to the numbers
as for me I feel like a kid again

I love this poem
It's uplifting and spiriting. Maybe it is just a lack of energy that makes people feel old sometimes
Thanks for entering my contest, best of luck
