As tears pour from my eyes
burdens yet to completely heave
become disentangled within
my heart, frayed, in my core.
My inner sanctum, snarled
beyond the eyes can envision,
in search for hoped promises;
tangled in caverns of my being.
Woven within the strands of my soul;
stitched together in arms embrace,
a spirit once crumbled and torn
now held by the threads of peace.

Nice job
A very well penned tale of sadness. "tangled in caverns of my being" gives a huge empty feeling of hopelessness and abondenment. Good luck in the contest, Boog

Wonderfully penned sister. May this touch the heart strings of our mr weaver and grace his existence with peace.
This is truly a blessing
