Tucked in the deep darkest recesses of Me,
away from the light in some forgotten corner,
as cold as the storm driven brass colored sea,
an unvisited grave without even one mourner.
Lonely, abandoned, an orphan cold feeling
that nothing else matters but finding a friend.
A heart that can share a moment worth stealing,
or if nothing else, then to merely pretend.
Arms to encircle and warmly embrace,
feeling a heart beat in rhythm with mine,
gentle the fingers which caress my face,
eyes that are smiling sweetly like wine.
Warm in the memory of one who I love,
gone now to somewhere that I cannot go,
reflected in starlight from heaven above,
lost in a dream world that I'll never know.
Longing for days when I'll meet her again,
far beyond borders of long night's embrace,
beings of pure light in heaven will spin,
shining the joy of her forgotten face.

beautiful...I feel deep sense of longing and sadness reading this. More structured than most of the previous pieces I've read of yours, but just as enjoyable. Well done.
