He planted a seed
expecting it to grow;
one by one
little shoots started to show.
As those shoots got bigger,
little vines with flowers
drew hummingbirds and butterflies,
awesome sight to His delight.
All colors showing now
like flowers in a garden
greens, and blues
and many hues.
He took a glance, a peek of sorts;
satisfied of His accomplishment.
He smiled, decided to
protect them, always
Never regretted planting
those seeds on that one special day
He looked once more at all of themhappy of the outcome;
of that there is no doubt.

All flesh is as grass and all the glory of man as the
flower of the grass, the grass withers, and its flower
falls away, But the word of the Lord endures forever.
