Author notes
I decided to make this roughly iambic tetrameter to show the sort of rhythmic way that humans live their lives. We get into these habitual trends, and only act selflessly when others are watching. I am ashamed in the selfishness of our race, yet I am proud that I am able to make that decision on my own. Proud to be ashamed of humanity.
