come lull me to sleep
peek-a-boo moon through gray clouds
night light's glow, full sphere
chasing indigo
dreams, where silver stars twinkle
your rise breaks silence
with held sigh explodes
mercy sprinkles on our heads
a lunar smile winks

Lovely images of the moon!
I really enjoy reading poems about the moon. Such a great inspiration. Yours made me smile

-
Dear Renee,
I love poems about the moon!
Although I love all three, the first one in this group is especially appealing!
Best of Luck in this contest!

Love,
Maureen
P.S.: Love the image of the moon in the background, too!

Dear Renee;
mysterious moon
so beautiful yet so cold
silver symmetry
I think I became a lunatic before I was born. Maybe my mother used to stand on the balcony in the moonlight (wearing her nightie of course!) and listen to Chopin's nocturnes.
I love your trio of haiku. Good luck in the contest but how are the judges to number them if you don't?
Applause, love and hugs, XXX Hugh (R.)
