that i can't have you next to me
i wish i could be there
so we could be happy
and know what it feels
to be loved for someone

This is sad and very powerfully emotive. I lost my best friend and my poem is a bit similar in nature to this. It was a really sweet poem that shows just how you feel.

I have such a time trying to write in this fashion, it comes to me so much easier when I rhyme. This is beautiful, and I know exactly how this feels.
