Alone in sadness and despair
With no one by my side.
The hope within me starts to fade,
All broken deep inside.
No one but my shadow stayed
Not a soul remained.
Weak and wounded as I travel;
The pain in my heart stained.
Will the roads I take even matter?
Are my efforts left in vain?
Do I deserve to live this life?
This life that will slowly drain.
As I give out my very last cry
To those that I once loved.
Hopeless pleas to still remain
Though I am left–-unloved.

This poem is about a person left unloved...
And now, I feel the same way again...
