This is a contest for Yoda-style poetry. Yes, the Yoda from Star Wars, the baddest green muppet in the universe. Poems must be written in the style that Yoda talks. If you don’t know who Yoda is, or have never seen Star Wars, feel free to write a poem in the style of Robert Frost – just please don’t enter it in this contest, because Robert Frost is not Yoda.

This was very well done. I love the presentation AND I almost thought that Yoda was the author...lol (Okay, no I didn't... but it was still great). Love the 'real message' in this piece and this was Yoda-Speak' (to me...lol). Wonderful talent; good luck in the contest.

Love yoda not sure I could actually write Yoda speak i would probably forget and write normally half way, very good poem though and Yoda is funny in a lot of ways with what he says. And what a great subject to so many people dont check and should for illness not just cancer.

But great things achieved you have, young Jedi knight you are. Force stong in you.
In other words, a great piece of poetry. And an original way to communicate the message of just how terrible cancer is to both young and older generations, including the real oldies who were there for the opening day of Star Wars Episode 4.
I agree, early warning is the best way to fight cancer and pray for those who have succumbed to it -
deep words done brilliently as yoda it is. such a horrible foe that strikes from within and puts up a fight. may the force be with all who must face it.
