Aboard the ship once again, I draw myself to lean over the edge and watch the water flow by the side as I pull the anchors chain. I drop a few more granules of salt as I gain my way to the wheel after a brief stop to set the sails in the wind.
I turn my rudder as hard as I can and until it stops as my ship points into the direction of the stars shimmering lights. I count them going by, one then two and too many more to count as my ship sails faster than it ever had.
Southbound via east then north until I reach my destiny and then maybe, just maybe then I will be at this journeys last stand and be where I ought to be as I have journeyed too far and for too many days and nights on these waters alone.
There, there will be no more crying out to the White Spirit, as my soul will be at ease and my flesh will be healed as the wind guides me each night while the breeze cools across my face and soothes my weary mind and calms my heart.
A journey long in the Seas wrath ended, as I will be able to dock once again in the land I so searched. For all the things I have dreamed in past, are now rolling through my mind as I realize the treasure I sought is the treasure I gained.
I realize now it was not the end of the journey I was after, yet rather the beginning. The treasure was there all along waiting for me in the shadows and giving me time to realize the reality of the journey itself is within itself.
For who could have known how to swim without first being shown? Who could have known the treasure of all treasure is the pearl and not the gold? For it is not the shiny things we should seek but the things that are hidden within.
May this not be my last journey however; as I long to gain my crew once again to sail with me in waters uncharted, celebrating with fresh rum bought by the jewels I had found in the treasures I had left behind to gain my fortune.
I shall bid these waters a farewell and start anew in the midst of my new crew who is patiently awaiting my arrival. No more of me being the one who must dive alone and no more sinking to the bottom grasping for chains.
There will be no more need of looking onto the cliffs, as I will be set high above them; for the angels who were amused at my life will be lifting me to the Heavens to see what wonder I have bestowed upon the other lost sailors.
So when I reach my destined land I give thee all I have aboard my ship thou waters of the deep. For thou hast taught me to reign above my treasures that weighted me down and slowed my ship and kept me from the White Spirit.

I read and re-read this work of beauty. Each time it unveiled another truth. It is by far the best! Perhaps because of your descriptiveness of the long, weary journey the reader can share your satisfaction of completing this trip. You did an excellent job on this one! One can feel your pleasure of attaining the treasures of a life-long search.
Or perhaps I relate to this as I personally have had this experience, and am just basking in the splendor of my own reward. At the same time, I realize the end of my search is just the beginning of the journey of a life-time ahead! As we each hold our treasure, may we appreciate what we have found and look to the future journeys together!
I look forward to reading more of your work!
