As snowflakes dance their way to earth,
they seem like they're on display.
From their opening bow, they show
to us all a grand ballet.
Each one falling in their place,
they stack themselves in rows.
Rising up in wind cut drifts,
to form a great plateau.
So crisp and clean their lines
are formed, as if they know just where.
To rest themselves upon the earth
in perfect little pairs.
And after they all have made their flight
the sky clears once again.
The earth is covered with their lives,
a million tiny friends.

Congratulations on the silver this was delightful to read, snowflakes are so beautiful and the fairies definitely reminded me of snowflakes, too.

I absolutely loved this one, it is a great interpretation of the prompt and I think with a couple corrections of spelling errors it would be a contender to take the gold in this contest.
line 2 ... I think their is suppose to be they're
last paragraph, line 1 - third word... should be 'they'
instead of 'the'
other than those two nits this reads flawlessley down the page and was a pure joy. I wish you the best of luck in this contest. God Bless, Suzi

Thank you for pointing out my errors. I sometimes rush when I do not have to. Someday I will learn, I hope. In your debt, Boog

Boog, this was delightful. I watched the ballet as I read it. A wonderful interpretation of the prompt. Well done. Good luck in the contest.
