All over this paper
Word for word
A piece of me
In each line
Each word
Precisely
Painfully
Thought out
I spoke of love
Of pain
Of what we were
And what we could gain
The lies you told
How they were burned into my soul
And with this letter
I just want it to burn
Just can't let you in

Pushing you away
Was what I feared most
But with this envelope
And this flame
