The stars sparkling in the night sky as your eyes do when i see them,
And the brightness of street lamps glowing as your face does when i see it,
The winds breeze stroking through my hair like your fingers when we make love,
And the darkness casting shadows as it does to my heart when without you,
The closeness between myself and the cosmos like the intimacy of our bodies as we embrace,
And the kiss between lovers that encourages my jealousy as I wish we were kissing at that moment,
The silence as peaceful as my mind, body and soul in your presence,
And the rest shared by everyone as addictive as ours after making love,
Yet the longing of sunlight as my heart yearns for yours when we are apart,
And the lack of new life as nihilistic as an existence without objective, meaning or purpose… without you.

I personally belive that it is rather good but he wont belive me and so we agreed that i would put it on here so that we could judge who was correct by any comments it recived.

This is a pretty good effort, good metaphors and language. Nice to read, well done.

Thanks for entering the contest. There is some very nice imagery here and good metaphores, describes being in love very well and yet simply too. Well done and thanks again
