On that blustery nefarious night inundated by shades.
My mind was wedged in clammy clouds, like a haze,
Dithering, doodling around a pernickety thought.
“Should I send it or should I not?” I questioned myself.
And my heart hollered back its objection ablaze
“Don’t unleash me so fast, please, I implore, not now!’
The excruciating, ominous and mournful moments,
Imprinted imperfectly with inky globs on paper,
Agonizingly resurrected as I revisited the events.
And tears of loathe towards myself and Them,
Like a dynamic river, corrupted my eyes with torments.
And my heart was ripped in suffering slices,
The sapphire air turned into a paranoiac dance
And finally, my mind joined the galaxy of tragedy
And everything paused, silence obliged me to decide,
And it all broke fast; when two pages got torn, at last…
Author notes
I think that this is a winner to me because I find it very powerful because of how I felt when I wrote it...Once I was going to send a very heartfelt letter to someone special but at the last moment I didn't...And it turned out for the best...
Um, so...my favourite colours are purple and black.
I love reading almost everything but I am very fond of poetry and short novels.
THANKS Muddking!

I love last two lines of the 1st stanza, they're really effective. I also really liked all of the second stanza, it's like I could totally see and feel what you went through before tearing that piece of paper up...the emotions really come through.
