In this game of cards we call life,
I have unfortunately been dealt
the card of a broken heart.
This card can rip away at girls,
it can tear up their self-esteem,
and it can even scar them for life.
But I've decided to play my card differently.
I've decided to throw my card into the pile...
and pick a new card from the deck.
This card is a special one.
It includes three suits.
And ya know what those are?
Power, strength, and dignity.

Life is like a game of cards. The hand that is dealt you represents determinism; the way you play it is free will. --Jawaharal Nehru

Oooh, now I really liked this one. I think your first stanza was one of the strongest:
-In this game of cards we call life,
I have unfortunately been dealt
the card of a broken heart.
...
BEAUTIFULLY written. I love the whole "unfortunately, I've been dealt the card of a broken heart" thing. Well, obviously you worded it different, but whatever. Very powerful. Keep it up & good luckkk ! ♥
