No Words

How do you say that he's amazing
when words run dry from the tongue.
Telling him he keeps your heart racing
is something that can not be done.
How do you tell him he makes you sing
as his eyes entrance your heart.
How do you say his voice will still ring
even when you're kept apart.
How do you say you're lucky to find
a man whose heart is so kind.

    Hoodwinked!

Cat got your tongue? This is great! I've been there! So intimidated by the sheer presence of a man who's swept you off you're feet that your tongue tied & enrapt! Love this piece, great flow & continuity, perfect thyme & content! Bravo for this write!

What a great read this one is! I know the feelings you speak of in this short, yet powerful write! And you know what, there are no words that can describe them! I have tried at least one hundred times to find those words, and yet, they never come. In fact you did a better job of capturing the feelings than I did! Great job!

I loved the repetition and the way that you have raised these questions. My favourite line was the second because of the image in my mind. A fine piece of work. Cheers

Such a beautiful poem, dear Bandit sister... I truly enjoyed it as it has such a sweet message and is perfectly written. I like the rhyming and how this flows easily from line to line very much.

A lovely and wondefully restrained--therefore more potent--poem penned to the beloved, with wonderful meter and fine rhyme! bravo... bravo...

For whatever reason, it is sometimes hard to express our deepest feeling of love. Hadn't thought of it this way. There is pride, fear of him leaving, etc.
    Good job. Very deep. Shancy.
