I hereby will explain to you the rogue Hubertus Hyde,
but first it is essential you should clearly understand
that Mister Hyde is simply Good King Hugh’s “alternate side”
which, if not rigidly controlled, can get quite out-of-hand.
Hugh Wyles, as King of Huguelot and Chaplain of his Lodge
must behave with apt decorum as a perfect gentleman.
with constant righteous duties which he cannot justly dodge
though occasionally he likes to let his hair down when he can.
As King Hugh’s alter-ego, Mister Hyde is always ready
to spring right into action when good Hugh let’s down his guard
for Hyde is unpredictable where Hugh is sure and steady
but Hubertus will provide relief when life for Hugh gets hard.
Thus Hyde is never reverent but, filled with sinful lust,
he overtakes Hugh’s serious Muse and, like some inner thief,
encourages licentious thoughts (eg: the female bust)
which those who understand Hugh’s nature know is his relief.
Unfortunately, good King Hugh can’t travel any more
so neither he nor Mister Hyde can meet you in New York.
Apart from Huguelot they’re tied within New Zealand’s shore
but by medium of Internet we still can write or talk.
Hugh Wyles, July 20th. 2008.

This was written for Aesthete2000 (she-of-inquiring-mind) who insisted that I explain the existentiality of the evasive and mysterious Mister Hyde. I am convinced that she will earn the gratitude of unborn generations for eliciting and inspiring this elucidation.

You underestimate the power of your cape...i think, i dont know for sure , but i think that cape enables you to fly. Give it a try, start off small though...jump off the side of your bed. Give three big jumps like you're on a trampoline and then leap into the hair, flap your arms, that might help and see if you are airborn

That looks like my ex husband Hugh! How did you get a picture of him?

We all have another side of ourselves that we let come to the surface, it helps us keep our sanity and seeing what Hubertus Hyde writes he's not so bad.
And if he helps you through when things get hard, well, he's ok in my books.
You know as your personal masseur you can just pop into the Castle and I'll massage any stress out of you, just let me know when you need me.

I kind of like a mixture of both, King Hugh Wyles and Mister Hubertus Hyde together, are a perfect example of a well sum of characters.
Hugh and the operas, Hubertus and the boobs...maybe one poem, bosoms epic?
Very amusing poem, which must have cleared up M-C's mind..
Love and hugs,

Dear Hugh,
Wow! What a scary character Hubertus Hyde looks! No wonder you only let him out occasionally.
But looks are deceiving as we know he means no harm, just likes to bring the Hyde side out to write your Boobology poems. He's loved just as much as you are.
Well at least Aesthete2000's curiosity has been satisfied.
Thanks for introducing Hubertus Hyde to us and as Yemassee says "Quite handsome"

LOL, she asked that, even after knowing about my various personae?
Ah so Hubertus Is the Yem side of you, Hugh is the Sir Ima, well sort of...that is better than Ms. Goes alter-ego...the infamous "IT!"
I guess we all have two or more sides, yours are just more well defined than most.
Hubertus is a handsome bloke!
He needs his own account.

But do take note, poet of high repute,
Sir Ima is still living in that alternate universe,
adventurously, along with his carpenter friend,
as well as a parade of anthropomorphized characters.
All are caught temporarily in an Olympic time warp,
while the writers are busy with surrounding life.
Sir Ima would like to allude to his mystic associates
who live in a far away castle, as soon as I write
some more dialogue for him!!
So is Mr. Hyde under careful watch so as not to escape
into another parallel dimensiion? His talents seem
varied and his nature persistent!
