Quiet seductive whispers caressing my inner self,
Settled deep within a labyrinth of twisted tragedies.
I find a soothing peace birthed from this corruption;
This deceit.
A beautiful poison, inevitable bliss
So close in reach, brushed with my fingertips
A solid heartache, a wounded mind,
Diminished in a moment’s time.
Penetrate my flesh, eradication of despair
A piercing sensation straight through my vein
And to my core of rotting, decaying lies
Release the addiction in to me
So now I may lay my head.
Pulsing through my empty shell
Filling these voids of places sucked clean of life
Thoughts spinning yet standing still
I’m on the edge of right & wrong
But I cannot differentiate which is which
I am aware of this concepts existence, but knowledge is but half the battle.
Slowly exit vision as my eyelids claim all sight
Am I blinded or finally able to see?
A blackened state of mind that feeds the rest
I am left with nothing but what my roots entail.

This is very deep. I think this is a piece that can speak to many where ever they are & also say many different things depending on how they read it. It is abstract enough to do that without losing meaning. That is a difficult balance but you have reached it in a way that calls one to read this more than once.
